T U A R I is a multidisciplinary art and design studio that creates visual imagery and spatial concepts for both commercial and private clients. The studio was founded in 2012 in The Netherlands by mother-daughter visual artists Yolande Alberdingk Thijm and Eliane Willeumier, who after both having worked in various creative fields decided to join forces and merge their artistic views to create new work together. Their projects span a wide range of disciplines including photography, video, spatial installations, product design and interior concepts, aiming to create a more engaging space or inspiring surrounding, inside or outside.

We strongly believe that a space works best when all elements in a space work together, meaning a connection between art, architecture, interior and people. We explore new mediums, materials and techniques, letting one project lead to another in a continuous flow of ideas resulting in works that lie on the border of art and design.
